We need to solve the discrepancies in our family tree and she has kicked this project off. Please take the time to respond so she can continue her efforts.
The purpose of this website is to organize the McLendon Family Tree. Since there is already disagreement about the top of the tree, that is where I will start. Descendants of John McLennon and Descendants of Dennis McLendon share a common thread in Dennis Born 1718 in Periquimans Co, NC died 1792 in Anson Co, NC both married to Mary Ingram but Dennis' parents have dates in question. My family branch starts with either Ephriam Elijah McLendon born abt 1750 or William Reason McLendon born bef 1756, both married to Elizabeth Tomlinson or Tomberlin.
McLendon-Chisholm, Texas has a cemetery with Preston A. McLendon and son Frank J. I have transcribed the McLendon graves and connected them to the Dennis branch.
